🆕 Don't have an account yet?

If you are a new student or researcher and don't have a DEI account, you must request one from the SIC team.

Important: Email Source

  • UC Students: You must send this request using your official UC institutional email (@student.uc.pt).
  • Others: If you don't have a UC account yet, you may use a personal email, but you must state the reason why you require a DEI account (e.g., specific research project or course enrollment).

How to request:

Send an email to helpdesk@dei.uc.pt with the following information:

Required Data (Copy & Fill)

  • Full Name: [Your name here]
  • Student Number: [e.g., 202XXXXXXX]
  • Mobile Number: [Required for password recovery only]
  • Alternative Email: [Personal email address]
  • Current Course: [LEI, MEI, PhD, etc.]

🛡️ Security Best Practices

  • Never share your password: The SIC team will never ask for your password via email.
  • Use Strong Passwords: Combine uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
  • Keep Recovery Data Updated: Ensure your mobile number in MyDEI is correct to avoid being locked out.
